CERAMIC CARE

All functional ARK Atelier ceramics are food safe unless otherwise noted.

Technically all of our functional ceramic wares are microwave and dishwasher safe. However, because each piece is handmade and one of a kind, handwashing and handling with extra care is encouraged.

Because each piece is made individually and by hand; sizes, coloring, and dimensions may vary slightly to items listed/pictured. Slight variations occur during the creative and firing processes. This adds to the beauty and magic of purchasing one of a kind art.

CUSTOMS


Currently, there is limited availability for customs.

Custom commissions are considered on a case by case basis and at the artist's discretion. The primary consideration for a custom is if the request aligns with the artist’s personal style. Please contact us (insert contact form direct link over that text) with your custom request and the artist will reach out to discuss details further.

ARK Atelier is committed to maintaining a safe space for creativity and expression.  It is crucial for me to create artwork that celebrates diversity, respects all individuals, and promotes understanding. Any custom requests that include concepts or language that perpetuate hatred, harm, or contain hate speech is in direct contradiction to ARK Atelier’s values and will not be considered. 

Any approved custom order will require an initial non-refundable deposit. This deposit serves as a commitment fee and ensures that both parties are invested in the creative process. The deposit will be applied towards the final cost of the artwork.

Please note that the current turnaround time for any custom order will typically be 4-6 weeks. This timeframe is based on an average production cycle, and is only a general estimate.

WHOLESALE


Wholesale items are not available at this time. We hope to have wholesale offerings in the near future.


SHIPPING

All orders will be shipped within 7-10 days of purchasing using USPS. Once your order has shipped you will receive tracking information within 24 hours of shipping.

Once you get a notification or message that says your order has shipped, it’s unfortunately out of our hands — once we ship it, we have the same information as you do!

We ship all of our orders through USPS. As you know, shipping delays — especially via USPS — can happen, but if you do need to file a claim for a missing package, head to this link.

Price of all items include a flat rate shipping cost. If ordering multiple items and the price of shipping paid exceeds actual shipping costs, the difference will be refunded to you once your order has been shipped.

Shipping is currently available to customers in the  U.S. and Canada. There are plans to ship worldwide in the future. If you're located outside of those regions and are interested in purchasing a listed item, reach out to see if we can work out a shipping plan for you.

Please note that international customers may be subject to additional fees and customs duties. By law, we must mark international packages as "Merchandise." International customers will be responsible for all additional fees. 

ARK Atelier is not responsible for any lost and abandoned packages. In the event of a stolen package, refunds will not be provided.  Please ensure a secure shipping location is provided at checkout.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

(only available on domestic purchases)

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason ARK Atelier allows refunds within one week of receiving. However, we are unable to cover the cost of return shipping unless an item(s) has been damaged in shipment or is defective.

If your purchase arrives damaged/broken please email us a photo of the damage. This helps us file a claim with USPS. We may send you a link to verify the damage happened during shipping. 

Before you initiate a return, please email us to explain the situation and let us know we should expect the shipment.

Once we receive the item, you’ll get a refund of the full amount of your returned item less the shipping cost.
